About the Company

Iconic Care is a fast-growing healthcare company on a mission to Prevent, Protect, and Thrive alongside individuals living with diabetes. We specialize in diabetic footwear, continuous glucose monitors (CGMs), and compression therapy — all delivered directly to patients across Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, and beyond.
Since 2018, we’ve helped over 10,000 patients live healthier lives, and we’re just getting started. With a deep commitment to compassionate care and innovation, we’re creating a healthcare experience that’s accessible, empowering, and life-changing.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Revenue & Billing Specialist who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This is a hybrid role that blends revenue cycle management with front-line customer support — you’ll work across teams to make sure patients are cared for and the business is financially sound.

This is a great fit for someone who loves solving problems, digging into billing systems, and making sure patients walk away feeling supported and understood.

What You’ll Do

Revenue & Billing Responsibilities

  • Submit claims accurately and efficiently to Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance (Anthem, UHC, Humana, etc.)

  • Track and manage accounts receivable, follow up on rejections, denials, or underpayments

  • Work closely with our billing platform (e.g., Brightree) to ensure clean claims and proper documentation

  • Reconcile daily, weekly, and monthly reports to ensure revenue accuracy

  • Identify trends in denials or delays and help implement process improvements

Customer Service Responsibilities

  • Act as a friendly, knowledgeable point of contact for patient and provider inquiries

  • Help patients understand their insurance benefits and qualification process

  • Support our sales and operations teams by resolving order, delivery, or documentation issues

  • Coordinate with shoe fitters, nurses, or reps to ensure seamless patient experiences

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience in medical billing, revenue cycle, or customer service

  • DME experience is a major plus (but not required)

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Great verbal and written communication — clear, patient, and professional

  • Ability to multitask between systems, calls, claims, and emails with ease

  • Passion for helping others and solving problems with empathy

  • Comfortable working in a start-up environment where change = opportunity

  • Associate’s degree in Business, Healthcare Admin, or related field preferred
