About the Role
We’re looking for a Revenue & Billing Specialist who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This is a hybrid role that blends revenue cycle management with front-line customer support — you’ll work across teams to make sure patients are cared for and the business is financially sound.
This is a great fit for someone who loves solving problems, digging into billing systems, and making sure patients walk away feeling supported and understood.
What You’ll Do
Revenue & Billing Responsibilities
Submit claims accurately and efficiently to Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance (Anthem, UHC, Humana, etc.)
Track and manage accounts receivable, follow up on rejections, denials, or underpayments
Work closely with our billing platform (e.g., Brightree) to ensure clean claims and proper documentation
Reconcile daily, weekly, and monthly reports to ensure revenue accuracy
Identify trends in denials or delays and help implement process improvements
Customer Service Responsibilities
Act as a friendly, knowledgeable point of contact for patient and provider inquiries
Help patients understand their insurance benefits and qualification process
Support our sales and operations teams by resolving order, delivery, or documentation issues
Coordinate with shoe fitters, nurses, or reps to ensure seamless patient experiences
Requirements
1–2 years of experience in medical billing, revenue cycle, or customer service
DME experience is a major plus (but not required)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Great verbal and written communication — clear, patient, and professional
Ability to multitask between systems, calls, claims, and emails with ease
Passion for helping others and solving problems with empathy
Comfortable working in a start-up environment where change = opportunity
Associate’s degree in Business, Healthcare Admin, or related field preferred
